Tanssin Voima festivaali 2025 joudutaan perumaan Helsingin kaupungin ja Taiteen edistämiskeskus - Taiken avustuspäätöksistä johtuen.
Festivaali oli tarkoitus järjestää Tanssin talossa marraskuussa 2025. Ohjelmistossa olisi ollut
Katve [blind spot]:n kantaesitys, Off/Balancen Them two, Ismo Companyn Miehet, jotka eivät löytäneet rakkautta, Jussi Väänäsen Pasos ja Willman Dance Companyn Words with Isadora.
Tanssin Voima ry on toiminut vuodesta 2012. Se on järjestänyt Helsingissä vuodesta 2015 lähtien Tanssin Voima festivaalia, joka toimii kotimaisen tanssin vapaan kentän hyväksi. Yhdistys toimii myös helsinkiläisen Willman Dance Companyn taustayhdistyksenä. Tanssin Voima ry:n toiminta-avustus Helsingin kaupungilta on toistamiseen ollut aivan liian pieni suhteessa toiminnan volyymiin. Taike ei ole nostanut yhdistystä toiminta-avustusten piiriin.

The Power of Dance festival 2025 in Dance house canceled
The Power of Dance Festival 2025 has been cancelled due to the grant decisions of the City of Helsinki and the Arts Promotion Centre - Taike. The festival was scheduled to be held at the Dance House in November 2025. The program would have included a premiere work from Katve [blind spot], Off/Balance's Them two, Ismo Company's Men Who Didn't Find Love, Jussi Väänäsen's Pasos and Willman Dance Company's Words with Isadora.
Tanssin Voima association has been operating since 2012. It has been organizing the Power of Dance Festival in Helsinki since 2015, which works for the freelance field of Finnish dance. The association also acts as a supporting association for the Helsinki-based Willman Dance Company. The operational subsidy for the association from the City of Helsinki has once again been far too small in relation to the volume of its activities. The Arts Promotion Centre - Taike has not included the association in the scope of operational subsidies.
